Fun exploring nature
Both of my children have loved attending Peninsula Forest and Beach School at the Moss Beach Location! They always come home dirty and full of joy - telling me stories of the critters they saw, the friends they made, the games they planed, and the fun they had. From building fairy houses, to scenic hikes, finding banana slugs, and meeting and learning from park rangers, my children's days are always filled with excitement. The teachers are caring and knowledgeable about our local flora and fauna. They created a loving and adventure-filled environment for my children!

This camp has fostered a deep love of nature in my kiddos!!
My boys have attended both Summer camps and school year camps through Peninsula Forest and Beach school for over 5 yrs. It's been an amazing part of our lives for the joy and deep sense of love for nature it has given us, not to mention the opportunity to meet some great nature teachers and other families in the area. It has also been a life saver for two working parents during school holidays - it feels great as a parent to know your kids are having a BLAST, safe, and not anywhere near a darn screen!!

Fun camp - seems geared toward younger kids
This is a great camp right on the beach with lots of time spent outside on nature walks, building sandcastles, and doing art projects. Even when it was cold and foggy the kids seemed to have a lot of fun and the counselors were really sweet. It did seem like mainly younger kids (under age 6, or at least that was the case the week my daughter was there).

Great camp but too expensive
We loved this camp. My two daughters still talk about it and we go back often to Seal Cove where they relive some of their favorite activities from camp. My only complaint is that it is too expensive. Having three young children, I'd love to send them to camp for two weeks during the summer but that is simply too expensive and comes with an outrageous price tag. I understand teachers need benefits and a proper salary. I understand class sizes need to be kept small. At the same time, the school is not paying for a facility to rent so I find the price is not justified. There is a sibling discount and a half day option but it makes close to no difference in price.
